A program material 10695615 is set up to be MRP with six month to prevent multiple reqs but on a recent PO it has two different line items. Why?

Understand that there are two purchase reqs are created through MRP on 08/30/2012. For the first purchase requisition requirement date is within six months from the date 08/30/2012 and for second requisition requirement date is above six months. So two separate purchase requisitions are created since lot size is six months. Then purchase order is created with this requisitions
and later on delivery date is changed for both items as same date which is leading to confusion.

Client understand the logic behind creation of two separate requisitions even though lot size is six months.
